Justin is a dedicated advocate for neurodiversity, working to champion the rights and needs of the autistic community. His advocacy is deeply personal, rooted in the ongoing journey to secure essential services and support for his son, Ciarán.

Justin’s expertise and commitment have led him to serve as a Liaison support to parents in the DCU Autism Schools research project, bridging the gap between research and real-world family needs. He is a frequent contributor to national media, having discussed the critical struggles for autistic children to secure places in special schools and autism classes on RTÉ Radio on several occasions.

Both Justin and his wife Jen have also been featured in the Irish Independent, sharing their personal experience with the lack of services provided for their son, even in the face of legal action. Leveraging his extensive background in audiovisual technology, Justin also speaks at events and on podcasts about designing sensory-supportive AV environments that are safe and inclusive for neurodiverse individuals.

Alongside Jen, Justin is a passionate supporter of Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland (AADI). Having experienced the incredible impact an assistance dog has had on their own family, they work to raise awareness for the vital role AADI plays in the lives of autistic children.

By sharing his family’s story—navigating the complexities of the support systems and celebrating the wins along the way—Justin provides a voice for other families facing similar challenges. His mission is to ensure that neurodiverse individuals are met with the access, respect, and specialized care they deserve at every stage of life.
