About Sir Justin Dawson
From passion
to
professional impact
Justin is an award winning AV Professional, tech influencer & Podcaster in the emerging technology industry

My mission is simple: To enlighten and entertain a global audience through my technology podcast and product review videos, helping you know if the latest tech is worthwhile buying.
I believe in empowering others. Whether I am speaking out for parents fighting for autism services, or teaching you how to set up your own podcast on my course page.
Everything I create is rooted in that belief.
"My passion for media sparked at 13 when I built a pirate radio station alongside my Dad. By 21 I founded a global internet radio station for Scouting."
Sir Justin Dawson is a multi-award winning AV and broadcasting professional with over 20 years of experience shaping technology in educational environments. By day, he's the Senior Technical Officer at DCU (Nursing, Psychotherapy and Community Health), where he designs cutting-edge classrooms and consults on university-wide AV strategies. That's his day job. His real mission? Bridging the gap between sophisticated AV systems and the people who use them.
Backed by an MA in TV & Radio Production and a BA in Media Production, Justin blends deep technical knowledge with authentic storytelling. His credentials include the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist® (CTS®) designation and IPMA-D certification.
Broadcasting has been Justin's lifelong thread. For 19 years he led Scouting Radio, including the 2007 'Scouting Sunrise' broadcast that reached over 250,000 listeners worldwide. His media experience led to the creation of the All Things TechIE podcast now in its 7th year with global listeners and viewers.
Autism advocacy runs deep. Justin is an active supporter of Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland. He champions neurodiversity in technology and media. He believes in equality for all neurodiverse people and holding accountable those responsible for the ongoing failures of services for children with disabilities in Ireland.
